T-shirts for bands: from album artwork to concert merchandise

The cover of the album may be a good start to the design of the T-shirt, but it is not always enough to put it in the square on the breast. Clothing has different proportions and way of viewing. It is worth extracting from the musical theme, which will preserve the character of the band also outside the screen and printed publishing.
Check what remains legible without cover
It can be a symbol, a fragment of illustrations, a distinctive inscription or a character. Separation of one element allows you to create a design more related to clothes. On the other hand, the full cover can also work if you consciously choose a poster rectangle.

Do not choose the method based solely on the number of colors visible on the miniature - tonal transitions and details also affect the preparation.

Prepare the series for sale at the event
Set the model, colors and sizes before you order multiple versions. A clear indication of the product and an up-to-date list of quantities will be useful for packaging and issuing. If you want to add T-shirts later, keep the final design, marking specification and model details.
Check the possibility of using illustrations, photographs, cut letters and names in the planned product. Materials prepared for the album may have separate application arrangements; they should be explained before printing.
Add the date of the concert, quantity, design of the front and back and the expectations of the sample to the question. Separate the cost of clothing, marking and preparation. This will make it easier to evaluate the basic option and the more extensive set.
